I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nicole Newman. She has worked with me for awhile now — from guiding me through the pre-approval process, to searching for homes, to finally buying my own home. She went so far above and beyond that calling her “just a realtor” doesn’t come close. Nicole became a true friend. Nicole has the heart of a servant. She didn’t disappear after closing; she continues to check in and help with anything I might need. In fact, after closing Nicole helped me to clean up my new home. She even remembered that my son wanted a cat and helped us find one, and then went a step further by helping me find resources for spay and neuter services. Every holiday, she still reaches out and thinks of us. These are just a few examples of the many, many things that Nicole has done other than help me to buy a home. I honestly couldn’t imagine going through this experience with anyone else. I know that whatever home-related needs I have in the future — buying or selling — Nicole will be the one I call. When I asked my mortgage agent who she trusted to work with me on the purchase of a home that caught my eye, she immediately said, “Nicole Hicks Newman”. As a former teacher, she and I shared a common past. If you’ve ever known a teacher, you will understand that they put heart into everything they do. Nicole was simply spectacular. Upon our initial meeting, I found out she and I had attended the same high school AND the same college. It was simply too destined! Nicole went to great lengths to make sure I had what I needed. She took care of the building inspection, the pest inspection and set me up with numbers for specialists I was going to need. On our first walkthrough, she pointed out things that I never noticed or small details in the paperwork that slipped by me. On Sunday, January 7, 2024 my spouse, Brenda and I visited an open house showing in Clemmons, North Carolina. There we met the realtor in charge, Ms. Nicole Newman. My wife and I had already looked at the exterior of this residence and now we found the interior attractive but probably not what we needed as empty nesters at this time in our life. However we did have an impulse to buy because the property is in such a desirable location for our activities when we compared to our present accommodation. Even though it was a busy showing, Ms. Newman found time to answer our questions with aplomb; and as we observed, she carried out relationships with others with that same knowledge, poise, and grace that afternoon. Additionally, she followed up in the evening with answers to some other questions we raised, such as the costs of heating that residence with propane heat. We were on the verge of buying the house even though we knew it was a bit large for our life style! Ultimately, even after Ms. Newman drafted requisite documents that were forwarded late in the evening and answered all of our questions, we opted not to go forward with purchase. We enjoyed the professionalism demonstrated by Ms. Newman with us and felt bad because we had used her time as we puzzled over the consequences of that purchase. She was a very able realtor with sincerity and purpose her demeanor that should be appreciated by others. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on her services to us.
